How to Find Us
By Road
From the North - Follow the A55 from Chester until you reach
Bangor, take the A487 through Caernarfon until you reach Porthmadog,
continue through the town and take a right turn by the Woolworths
store, take the first left and Yr Hen Fecws is approx. 200m on
your right.
From the
Midlands and South - Take the A5 from the Shrewsbury area, after
Corwen take a left turn onto the A494 to Bala, just as you enter
Bala take a right turn onto the A4212 signposted Porthmadog,
follow this road until you meet the A470, turn right and follow
this road all the way to Porthmadog, upon entering Porthmadog
take the first left turning, after approx 150m you will see Yr
Hen Fecws ahead of you just as the road bends to the right.
By Rail
Porthmadog Station is located on the Cambrian Coast line which
runs from Shrewsbury and has connections from Birmingham and London. Alternatively,
Bangor Station is approx, 25 miles away with connections to the
North and London.
By Ferry
The ferry from Ireland arrives at Holyhead, from where you
follow the A5 to Bangor, take the A487 all the way to Porthmadog,
continue through the town and take a right turn by the Woolworths
store, take the first left and Yr Hen Fecws is approx. 200m on
your right.
