A hidden gem where our guests enjoy fine dining, every evening, in a relaxed, bistro style setting. Seasonal menus are expertly put together by Head Chef - Ryan French. Our thoughtfully curated wine list is designed to compliment every course, surprising and delighting all tastes. Once discovered, Yr Hen Fecws is never forgotten. Head Chef Ryan French has been delighting diners at Yr Hen Fecws for several years. Over time, Ryan has developed excellent relationships with local suppliers, so quality ingredients are guaranteed.
Menus reflect seasonal changes, but signature favourites such as slow cooked pork belly or pan seared duck breast or sticky toffee pudding feature on the menu all year round.
The team are delighted to have been voted the top restaurant in Wales for a romantic meal, securing eighth spot in the whole of the UK, according to Trip Advisor in 2025.

Our Veuve Deloynes Champagne or our selection of sparkling wines are perfect to celebrate with and our knowledgeable team are on hand to guide your decision. To make choosing easier, our wine list shows the perfect food pairing for each wine as well.
Stay with us
Yr Hen Fecws Bed & Breakfast is situated next to our restaurant and is perfect for a weekend stay or visit during the week. There are seven rooms to choose from, many of which retain original features such as stone walls or wooden beams. All rooms are ensuite, with a refreshment tray, free WiFi and a delicious breakfast - the perfect start to a day's exploring.
Guests are welcome to order drinks from the bar to enjoy in their rooms. We also offer a drinks pre-order service, so your favourite tipple is ready for you in your room when you arrive.
